Purchasing
Purchasing and owning real estate in Mexico has never been safer for international buyers than it is today. New regulations protect your investment. All land purchases, for instance, at Punta Mita are fee-simple transactions completed through a trust deed with a Mexican bank.
The bank acts as the trustee on your behalf, while you hold all rights to the ownership and use of the property. The trust deed is registered in the public land registry. This trust expires after a period of 50 years, at which time you can renew it for another 50 years. This system effectively provides legal and equitable ownership in perpetuity. |
