Golf Courses at the Punta Mita Resort, Riviera Nayarit
The 7,014-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, with its renown 3B green on a natural ocean island, has made Punta Mita a veritable paradise for world class golfing.
Developed with careful environmental planning, the Punta Mita golf facility features a maxi four-system computerized weather station to monitor ground moisture, helping to conserve water by irrigating greens and fairways only when needed. Environmentally safe organic fertilizers are used in place of chemicals, employing little or no herbicides or insecticides, with only biodegradable insecticides used on greens bordering the ocean.
Natural vegetation, including 26 acres of native grasses, have been preserved in and around the course.Greens are designed to USGA (United States Golf Association) standards, consisting of Four inches of gravel and a foot of mixed sand and field moss. Champion-Dwarf Bermuda has been used on the greens, with Bermuda T-419 used on the fairways, tees, and in the roughs.
The private golf club, open to Resort guests, to Resort Club members and vacation ownership residents. The course is and will continue to be managed by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

| In June 2008, Pacifico Golf Course was named the number one golf course in the world by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler. The Nicklaus-designed course is set amid vistas of white-sand beaches and the surrounding Sierra Madre Mountains.
Spread over 81 hectares (200 acres), the course takes full advantage of its seaside location. Eight holes border either the Pacific Ocean or Banderas Bay, and offer views of whales during seasonal migration. Enjoy the novelty and challenge of Hole 3B, dubbed “The Tail of the Whale.” It is the world’s only natural island green. The Punta Mita peninsula’s tropical landscape of palm trees and flowering trees add to the pleasure of playing this golf course, which is challenging for experienced golfers yet friendly for the beginner.

Golf enthusiasts now have two courses to choose from at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course features stunning lakes and water features, some meandering through multiple holes. In contrast to the original course, the Bahia Golf Course offers more undulating fairways and greens, making putting technique an important part of the playing experience. While the Resort’s beautiful natural landscape provides a stunning backdrop for the entire course, one of the most breathtaking holes has a downhill approach with a panoramic view of Bahía de Banderas. Another noteworthy hole is nestled on the beach just steps from Punta Mita’s famed El Faro surf spot.
