Kupuri Estates, Punta Mita Resort
7 bedrooms / Sleeps 20+ / from $8,500 USD / night
Why we LOVE this villa:
It is one of the largest homes for rent in Punta Mita, comprising three lots
The property sits on a hillside, with dramatic ocean views, and flows down to a private beachfront.
It is next door to the Kupuri Beach Club.
The new lot contains an outdoor pavilion, with al fresco dining, a bar, TV and lounge area.
It also offers a bocce ball court, a marble ping pong table, lit at night, and grassy lawn area for outdoor games.
Villa Kupuri 2, of the largest Punta Mita rentals in the Kupuri Punta Mita neighborhood is an artful and elegant estate siting above a white sand beach, with a view to Sayulita, gentle waves perfect for swimming or snorkeling. A lush private garden with an outdoor bar and fire patio leads down to a private cabana on the beach.
The uncrowded Kupuri Beach Club is just steps from the house, while the Resident’s Beach Club, two Jack Nicklaus golf courses, tennis and fitness center, and restaurants and surf shops in town are all a quick golf cart or bike ride away.
The friendly, professional staff makes it easy for you to relax and enjoy your vacation. Our driver will pick you up at the airport and our butler will serve you a margarita as soon as you arrive. Our cook makes wonderful, traditional Mexican dishes and local specialties using the freshest seafood, fruits and vegetables.
Our housekeeper does daily laundry and turndown service, and our concierge will give you a tour of the area and arrange any activities for you. All meals, drinks and transportation are included in the rental cost (you just pay for groceries and liquor at no mark-up).
Designed by architect Jaime Barba, known for some of the most beautiful homes in coastal Mexico, Villa Kupuri 2 offers dramatic water views and cool ocean breezes from every room. The main palapa features a water channel running its length, spilling into the cocktail pool, which spills into the infinity-edge lap pool and adjacent Jacuzzi.
A sandy hammock terrace beckons from the pool, and just below, a grassy lawn invites children to run and play. On the next level, a stone patio features an outdoor bar and fire pit with a spectacular view of the ocean and sunset.
A winding path through the garden leads down to a private cabana on the beach, where guests can enjoy the privacy of their own meals and relaxation, or can partake in the restaurant and pool at the Kupuri Beach Club, next door.
Perfect for multiple families or large groups, this is a beach house designed with fun in mind. With a full basketball court, a media room with a giant surround-sound movie system, golf carts, paddle boards, bikes, kayaks and boogie boards, you won’t run out of things to do here.
Warm, melon-colored walls, colorful fabrics and traditional Mexican artwork create a vibrant, yet relaxing vibe. Much of the furniture was handmade by local artisans, using native tropical hardwoods. Lines blur between indoors and out, with the main palapa open on one side to the ocean and on the other to a landscaped palm garden with a stone water fountain, and flanked by tropical pathways.
Numerous private spaces beckon—a Tuscan-style pizza oven patio shaded by orange trees; a colorful sun terrace with a daybed nook perfect for midday napping or sleeping under the stars; a giant marble outdoor tub set in a private garden.
Each of the seven bedrooms offers a private terrace facing the ocean, furnished with comfortable daybeds, so guests can read or nap while others swim and play below. The master suite boasts 180-degree views from a wraparound terrace, indoor and outdoor showers and a small office.
Two other guest suites offer king-size beds. A fourth suite has two queen beds, and a bunk room sleeps six. All bedrooms offer AC, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks. In addition, a loft above the media room sleeps four on pullout futons, with its own full bathroom, while the media room couches can accommodate additional overflow guests.
